Shopping Day
It’s finally the weekend (thank goodness)! I hope all of you
have had an excellent weekend so far. I have enjoyed my day; I got to spend a
couple hours shopping for décor with my mother. It is always so fun, to look
around for new products that would look great in the home. I believe everyone
is in the “spring” mood. Every store had all of their spring décor displayed soon
as you walked inside. That was the first thing I noticed while shopping today. Stores
know how to get the shoppers attention by displaying things that the costumers
want… aka (spring). Today while I was shopping I noticed the most beautiful
decorations soon as I walked into Kirkland’s. I think they had the best display
so far this season. As I walked in I noticed the beautiful “window mirror” with
all of the spring plants in front of it. The new look and trend going around
right now is making a window into a mirror. I think everyone is enjoying the
vintage look. Kirkland’s did an excellent job of displaying their spring items.
I would recommend taking a visit and checking out their latest décor.

Monogram Fun
It’s another snow day! I’m getting use to this. I am
enjoying sitting at home, getting caught back up on my homework for the rest of
the week! I hope all of you are safe and sound at home. How many of you are fans of monogramed items?
(I AM) Monogram is such a girl thing; I don’t think guys understand why we
enjoy putting our initials on everything. But anyways… Monograming is one of
those things that never date. I do believe you can overdue monograming but I
think it’s best if you just keep it simple. The best place for monogramed
things would probably be the bathroom. I think it is so unique to buy hand
towels with your initials on them. It makes a bathroom just so classy. I also believe
that a large letter initial is great to put over a big space such as a
fireplace. It makes home, feel like YOUR home. You can never go wrong with
adding monogramed materials to your home. Great places to look are Etsy,
Pottery Barn, and target. STAY WARM

Easter Eggs
Hey guys! I hope you guys have had a great day! Snow is just
around the corner and since it is, tonight’s blog is going to be about Easter.
Easter is one of the most important holidays I believe we have. We might not
give gifts or decorate the house with trees and lights, but it is a very
important holiday, because Jesus died and rose again, and for that reason I am
free! (What a great feeling). I also believe that your home can be decorated
cute for this holiday! I am a HUGE fan of eggs as a decoration (I know what you’re
thinking, EGGS? REALLY?) I just think they are so adorable and always make the
kitchen look its very best. I also was grown up with a chicken farm so it’s
just my southern side coming out I guess! Anways…. I came across adorable pastel eggs at the
local Kroger. They were ONLY $3 for a 12 pack!!! (THAT’S A STEAL) You can
almost do anything with eggs. I think they look great in a glass vase wrapped
around some lights. Another great look
is eggs hanging on a wreath. What a better way to invite people in. I suggest
checking out the local Kroger near you to find the cutest egg wreaths and more.

Dreaming about Spring
As of today, I am officially over winter. I enjoy winter and
the beautiful snow that God has allowed us to have, but I am ready for some
warm weather. As I continue with my blog I am not only going to be posting
about decorating, but I am also going to share my love for gardening. Gardening
is a huge part of my life. I would say it is one of the most relaxing and
enjoyable things I do in my free time during the warm months. I love seeing
things grow, and the best part would be eating all of the fresh vegetables. Even
though gardening season is still about 2 months away, it’ll come faster than we
think. A few tips on starting a prosperous garden.
1.
Find a great spot in the yard with lots of room
for growing plants
2.
To keep animals out, you might want put a fence
around the garden area
3.
Buy some extra soil, to guarantee your plants
growth
4.
Start planting… On the packages it should say
how far you should plant the seeds in the ground, make sure to carefully read
the instructions. (Each plant is different)
I hope each one of you will consider planting a garden this
spring. It is so healthy for the soul. Why not try it out?

Lets talk Mannequins
It doesn’t feel like Wednesday but I am defiantly glad we
have made it half way through the week! I hope all of you have had a great day!
I have always been a huge fan of fashion, and all of the
name brand items on the market (don’t we all). Today, I thought it would be the
perfect day to share with you guys my adorable mannequins. I am such a fan of
decorative mannequins; this is such a girl item for the house. I would suggest
putting these items in a guest room or in a room that is designated for women
(unless you’re not married and then it shouldn’t be a problem). You can find
mannequins, at almost any decorating store. I bought both of mine at Tjmaxx. These
adorable pieces go great with lace, floral, and many other girly fabrics. They
top off that girly room you have always dreamed of. And they also make the
perfect item to hang your clothes on. They are adorable, cheap, and the perfect
item to decorate with.
Keep your home beautiful and bright
